Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested applicants for a position of Data Collectors for a Vaccine wastage rate data collection in the 36 States of Nigeria and the FCT. The exercise is aimed at generating high-quality data to support healthcare interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the collection of immunization and vaccine data from health facilities records using digital tools (ODK).
- Observe immunization sessions and interview service providers using digital tools (ODK)
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards, including informed consent and confidentiality.
- Accurately report findings within the assigned Local Government Area (LGA) or state.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to meet deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Minimum of a BSc. or HND degree Certificate.
2. Prior experience in field data collection projects is preferred.
3. Familiarity with the terrain of the target LGA or state is essential.
4. Must own a suitable smartphone with strong internet connectivity.
5. Proficiency with digital tools like ODK, Kobo Toolbox, or SurveyCTO.
6. Competence in using smartphones for data entry and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
7. Fluency in English and the local languages of the target area.
8. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, including informed consent and confidentiality.
9. Availability throughout the entire data collection period.
10. Attendance at mandatory training before deployment is required.
11. Evidence of participation in similar projects (if applicable).
