The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for full-time positions across various paramilitary agencies. The application window opens on Thursday, June 26 and will remain open for three weeks.

Available Vacancies

Jubril announced various openings across the agencies under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), along with their qualification requirements:

  • Superintendent of Corrections (CONMESS 09)For Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) only: Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).
  • Assistant Superintendent I (CONPASS 09)Exclusive to the Federal Fire Service (FFS): Candidates must hold a degree in Law or a BSc in disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Water Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Assistant Superintendent II (CONPASS 08)Open to NSCDC, FFS, and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS): Requires a BSc or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant field.
  • Inspector (CONHESS 06)Available to NCoS, NSCDC, and FFS: Candidates must be registered nurses or midwives.
  • Assistant Inspector (CONPASS 06) – Requires a National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in relevant disciplines.
  • Assistant II (CONPASS 04), General Duty – Applicants must have a GCE O’Level, SSCE, NECO, or equivalent with at least five credits in no more than two sittings.
  • Assistant III, General Duty – Requires at least four credits in GCE O’Level, SSCE, NECO, or equivalent, obtained in no more than two sittings.

He further emphasized that applicants must be Nigerian citizens, possess the required educational qualifications, and be medically fit.
