Is the FUTA 2025 POST-UTME Form Available?
NO, the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has not yet released the POST-UTME form for 2025. Prospective candidates should note that last year’s registration opened on Wednesday, 7th August 2024, and closed on Friday, 20th September 2024.
All eligible candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration as early as possible to avoid any last-minute rush.
Who Is Eligible?
To participate in the screening exercise, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must have scored at least 180 in the 2024 UTME, conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and selected FUTA as your first choice institution.
- You must have chosen FUTA as your first choice when applying through Direct Entry (DE).
- You must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings in exams conducted by WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
- You must be at least 16 years old as of 1st October 2024 to be eligible for admission.
Important: Any UTME candidate who does not undergo the screening will not be considered for admission into the University.
How to Apply for FUTA Post UTME
To apply for the screening:
- Visit www.futa.edu.ng to begin your application.
- Fill out and submit the Post-UTME Application Form online.
- After submission, print a copy of your registration form for your records.
Registration Guidelines
Mandatory Requirement: Completing the registration form is compulsory for all eligible candidates. Be sure to enter your UTME registration number and full name (exactly as it appears on your JAMB slip) accurately during the payment and registration process.
Post-Payment Instructions:
Once your payment has been made, return to the university website to complete and submit your online registration form.
Screening Fee
The screening fee is ₦2,000 and should be paid through any bank via the Remita platform. Be sure to generate the required payment code on the FUTA website before making your payment.
Important Reminders
- Registration Opens: Wednesday, 7th August 2024
- Registration Closes: Friday, 20th September 2024
- Minimum Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 1st October 2024 to qualify for admission.
- O’ Level Results Submission: Upload your O’ level results to JAMB CAPS and ensure they are shared with FUTA by the registration deadline (20th September 2024). Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the admission process.
