Nigerian Air Force (2025/2026) Recruitment: Tradesmen and Non-Tradesmen Application Portal

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) recruitment exercise for tradesmen, tradeswomen, and non-tradesmen/women is currently closed. However, here’s all the information you need to help you prepare for the next round of recruitment.

Is the Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Form Available?

NO, the 2025 Nigerian Air Force Recruitment form is not yet available. The previous registration window for both trade and non-trade positions ran from August 21, 2024, to October 2, 2024.

General Eligibility Requirements

  1. Nationality: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess either a National Identity Number (NIN) or Bank Verification Number (BVN).
  2. Age Criteria:
    • Non-Tradesmen/Women: 18–22 years old by September 20, 2025 (born between September 21, 2003, and September 20, 2007).
    • Tradesmen/Women: 18–25 years old by September 20, 2025 (born between September 21, 2000, and September 20, 2007).
    • Chaplain Assistants, Assistant Imams, and Drivers/Mechanics: 18–28 years old by September 20, 2025 (born between September 21, 1997, and September 20, 2007).
  3. Marital Status: Only single individuals are eligible to apply.
  4. Height Requirements: Minimum height is 1.66 meters for males and 1.63 meters for females.
  5. Medical Fitness: Applicants must meet Nigerian Air Force (NAF) standards for medical, physical, and psychological fitness.
  6. Local Government Attestation: A completed attestation form signed by a military officer (rank of Wing Commander or higher) or an equivalent senior civil officer is required. This form must include a recent passport photograph and a copy of the signatory’s identification.

Academic Requirements

Non-Tradesmen/Women:
Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, obtained in no more than 2 sittings (SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB). A school testimonial is also required.

Tradesmen/Women:
Academic requirements vary by trade. Examples include:

  • ND/NCE Holders: Must hold at least a lower credit from an accredited institution, along with 5 credits in Mathematics and English.
  • Drivers: Must have at least 2 passes in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB, a Trade Test Certificate, and a valid driving license.
  • Sportsmen/Women: Must provide verifiable proof of professional experience, such as relevant certificates or medals.

Important Note:
Candidates holding HNDs, First Degrees, Postgraduate Certificates, or University Diplomas are not eligible to apply for recruitment as airmen or airwomen.
