Available Positions/Vacancies

• Superintendent of Corrections (CONMESS 09) – NCoS only: BSc in Medicine and Surgery.
• Assistant Superintendent I (CONPASS 09) – FFS only: Degree in Law or a BSc in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Water Engineering, or related fields.
• Assistant Superintendent II (CONPASS 08) – NSCDC, FFS, NIS: BSc or HND.
• Inspector (CONHESS 06) – NCoS, NSCDC, FFS: Must be a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
• Assistant Inspector (CONPASS 06): ND or NCE in relevant fields.
• Assistant II (CONPASS 04), General Duty: GCE, O’Level, SSCE/NECO or equivalent with at least 5 credits in no more than two sittings.
• Assistant III (General Duty): GCE, O’Level, SSCE/NECO or equivalent with at least 4 credits in no more than two sittings.

Applicants must meet general eligibility requirements, including Nigerian nationality, educational qualifications, and medical fitness.

General Requirements for NSCDC Recruitment 2025/2026

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be Nigerian citizens by birth.
• Be between 18–30 years old.
• Be physically and mentally fit.
• Not have been involved in any criminal activities.
• Have no tattoos or body inscriptions.
• Be free from communicable diseases, stammering, mental illness, vision/hearing problems, or physical disabilities.
• Male applicants: minimum height of 1.65m; female applicants: 1.60m.
• Have a valid birth certificate or age declaration.
• Possess a minimum of four (4) credits in no more than two sittings in WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
• Present a valid certificate of medical fitness from a government-approved hospital.
• Not be affiliated with any cult, secret society, or fraternity.
• Have no record of financial misconduct.
• Computer literacy is an added advantage.
• Chest measurement for men must be at least 0.87 meters.
