If you selected the University as your first choice during your JAMB UTME or Direct Entry application, this is your opportunity to prepare for the screening process!
IMPORTANT: Please note that the 2025 POST-UTME form is not yet available. The information provided here is intended as a guide for the upcoming screening exercise and is based on details for candidates who applied in 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible to apply if you meet either of the following conditions:
- You selected the University of Uyo as your first choice institution and scored 140 or above in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME.
- You selected the University of Uyo as your first choice in the 2024/2025 JAMB Direct Entry application.
Application Process
Qualified candidates should follow these steps to complete their application:
1. Payment of Application Fee
Pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 via the University’s online portals.
2. Online Registration and Payment
- Visit uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals or www.uniuyo.edu.ng and click on the e-portals link.
- Select Admission Forms.
- Choose the appropriate form type (Post-UTME or Direct Entry).
- Enter your phone number and email address.
- Click “MAKE PAYMENT NOW” to proceed with payment.
3. Complete Registration
- After successful payment, return to the portal and click Register to obtain your login details.
- Fill out the registration form correctly and submit online.
4. Print Screening Slip
- Print the 2024/2025 Screening Exercise Slip for your personal records.
Note: Payments can be made online via ATM card/Internet Banking or at any commercial bank using a pre-payment slip generated through the Remita platform.
Application Requirements
- Bio Data Form: Complete and submit the form accurately online. Direct Entry candidates must also scan and upload their higher academic qualifications.
- Information Accuracy: All details provided must be correct; inaccurate information may lead to disqualification.
- No Need to Upload O’Level Results: Your O’Level results, passport photo, and biometric data have already been provided by JAMB.
Important Information
- Disqualification: Candidates who submit false or inconsistent information will be disqualified.
- Mandatory Registration: Only candidates who register will be considered for admission.
- Exemptions: The Post-UTME screening exercise does not apply to:
- Foreign applicants
- Inmates of correctional centers
- Blind and deaf candidates
- Awaiting Results: Candidates with awaiting results (AR) are also eligible to apply.
